Once the manufacturer saw that the gel really could maintain a shape, then it made these 12 different shapes. That means that for any given volume a surgeon feels is suitable for a patient, he or she can choose from twelve different forms in which to deliver that volume and affect the shape of the breast. In contrast, round non-form stable implants generally come with just three choices, moderate, midrange or moderate plus, and high profile. And as we will see later, those three do not necessarily look all that different from one another once they are inside the body (because, with non-form stable fillers, they are subject to deformity by the body and all shapes will ultimately yield to the forces the body puts on them.)
